Why are we Murderous?

Forensic psychotherapy is a branch of psychotherapy which studies the treatment of the offender patient from a psychoanalytical perspective, investigating whether dangerous people can be treated psychologically rather than punitively. This conference will address the question of whether psychotherapists can properly diagnose dangerous or potentially dangerous patients who act out, and whether psychoanalytically-orientated treatment really works for this clinical population.
