It is with great sadness that we report the death of Professor Gill McGauley on July 13th 2016.
Gill had just been diagnosed with a serious illness and died in hospital. For those of us who knew her this is a stunning loss; not least because it was only in April that we enjoyed her after dinner speech at the IAFP in Ghent; and some of us enjoyed her inaugural speech as professor of Forensic psychotherapy at St Georges in May.
There are no good words at times like this; and the IAFP will want to send it deepest commiserations and love to Gill's family. Gill was a founder member of the IAFP, Treasurer, President and general advocate for forensic psychotherapy; to lose her so suddenly and so early is truly tragic.
She will be very much missed.
