The IAFP is pleased to advertise the North London Forensic Service 11th International Conference on Terrorism, Extremism and Mental Health Services. The conference takes place on Monday, 26 & Tuesday, 27 September 2016 at Queens' College, Cambridge, UK.
This conference will be of interest to mental health professionals and also to counter-terrorism practitioners and academics in terrorism studies. The growing evidence that mental disorders are of importance in this area, contrary to the previous consensus, will be explored. More importantly, the conference aims to begin to consider the practical implications of this for practitioners and how multi-agency approaches may be helpful.
This is a non-profit making academic conference sponsored by Barnet, Enfield & Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust.
