The International Association for Forensic Psychotherapy and the Royal College of Psychiatrists, Psychotherapy Faculty, held a joint  international conference on 10th-12th April, 2008, in Isola di San Servolo, Venice, Italy. Our theme was 'Security and Terror: A State of Mind.' 
 

Bullet ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
In this age of terror we commence the 21st Century with increasing paranoia and fear; this conference aimed to use psychotherapeutic ideas to come to an understanding of psychological security.

Plenary speakers were: Dr Valeria Egidi Morpurgo (Italy) Dr David Bell (UK). Dr John Clarkin (USA) and Dr Lorna Rhodes (USA).

Colleagues from the Public, Non-Governmental and Voluntary Sectors, Health Services and Criminal Justice Systems attended.
